Football Sporting Club Polonia
KSP Polonia Warszawa belongs to the group of the oldest football clubs with many achievements and successes existing in Poland. The club has been established in 1911 and celebrated its 95th anniversary recently. Its position in Polish football history is important owing to the following successes: two titles of Champion of Poland (1946 and 2000) and the victory in Cup of Poland (1952 and 2001). Many legends of Polish sport were the members of “Black Shirts” team. In 2006 the club lost its position in top football class occupied during 10 seasons. However the patronage over POLONIA Club has been taken by J.W. Construction Holding S.A. Actually the members of “Black Shirts” are fighting to return to their previous position among leading football teams. 100% shares in KSP Polonia Warszawa S.A. are in the possession of the Company. Owing to their excellent results achieved in spring 2007 by the players led by such experienced footballers like Marek Citko or Jacek Kosmalski, POLONIA is called again “The proud of Warsaw” and the stadium at Konwiktorska Street is visited by more and more supporters.

Men’s Volleyball Team J.W. Construction AZS Politechniki Warszawskiej (Warsaw University of Technology) is the only one team in Warsaw playing in the top class of national meetings (Polish Volleyball League). Since 2006 the developer company J.W. Construction Holding S.A. is the co-owner of the Club. The team is the volleyball proud of the Capital Town – continuing the successful traditions of the volleyball teams in Warsaw. The development of “Academic” team is continued and many new players known from the meetings in national teams join to the team in successive years. The volleyball meetings in academic version are gaudy events attracting many supporters and viewers. . The volleyball is a contact less sport requiring the tactics and perfect performance of individual elements of the game to win. Polish volleyball is a successful discipline.
