KSP Polonia Warszawa belongs to the group of the oldest football clubs with many achievements and successes existing in Poland. The club has been established in 1911 and celebrated its 95th anniversary recently. Its position in Polish football history is important owing to the following successes: two titles of Champion of Poland (1946 and 2000) and the victory in Cup of Poland (1952 and 2001). Many legends of Polish sport were the members of “Black Shirts” team. In 2006 the club lost its position in top football class occupied during 10 seasons. However the patronage over POLONIA Club has been taken by J.W. Construction Holding S.A. Actually the members of “Black Shirts” are fighting to return to their previous position among leading football teams. 100% shares in KSP Polonia Warszawa S.A. are in the possession of the Company. Owing to their excellent results achieved in spring 2007 by the players led by such experienced footballers like Marek Citko or Jacek Kosmalski, POLONIA is called again “The proud of Warsaw” and the stadium at Konwiktorska Street is visited by more and more supporters.
